Audi Matias, Owner/ PiYo Live Instructor, Latin/Tango Dancer

Audi is from Puerto Rico and helps keep our salsa program authentic. She is also quite experienced with education, as she is a college professo as well. She earned a master’s degree and a bachelor’s of science in geology from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez and received her Ph.D. in geological sciences from Northwestern University. She is engaged in the community and is the Executive Director of the Hispanic Coalition NY, Inc., a nonpartisan and nonprofit organization dedicated to the advancement of the Hispanic-Latino community in New York State.

Audi has always enjoyed dance and first explored technical training for Latin dance in Chicago while completing her dissertation. She has been a member of the Saratoga SAVOY for the last seven years and has performed Latin dance and Argentine Tango with her partner throughout the area, including the Saratoga Race Track. Besides performance dancing, Audi is passionate about living a healthy and balanced life. She is a certified PiYo® Live Instructor and coaches a team on basic nutrition, the importance of portion control and fitness.

David F Wolf, Master Instructor

David dances all types of Social Dancing, but mainly specializes in American Standard Ballroom and Argentine Tango. Dave has over 20 years of dance experience and has had training with some of the world's best dancers. He is also no stranger to instruction, for he has experience as a high school teacher as well as an instructor of college level courses. He has also trained dance instructors for over tens years. No matter where you take a class with David you are sure to enjoy every minute! David is known for his incredible sense of humor and extraordinary teaching skills. He is also filled with tons of dance history knowledge as well as strange factoids that surprise most everyone. We tease him and say that he should go on Jeopardy or something...Any class with him is sure to be educational, fun and memorable!

Besides instruction and choreography, Dave is a DJ. He offers a one of the largest authentic collection of Argentine Tangos, Disco, Swing and Latin music. He has done several ballroom events and weddings as well.

Jenna Caputo, Office Manager / Instructor / Community Outreach Coordinator

Jenna wears many hats at the SAVOY. She is our office manager extaordinaire, our community outreach coordinator as well as a dance instructor, specializing in Ballroom and first dance wedding dances. Aside from her dance career, Jenna is a writer and is very involved in theater.

Samra of Hollywood

Samra has years of experience performing and teaching belly dance in Jamaica, Hawaii, and California. Now she brings her incredible knowledge and experience to the SAVOY! Besides looking amazing, she makes learning to look that good easy.

As a master bellydance instructor in Traditional Cabaret style, you will have access to the top level instruction whatever the level of your experience.

Pheonix, Bellydance Instructor

Teacher of fusion bellydance, Pheonix has performed throughout the region, choreographed several shows and lead multiple bellydance groups. Enjoy her fun style that gets everyone moving.

Brad McNeil, Pop-n-Lock/Club Latin
Guest Instructor

Brad has an extensive background in Hip Hop and Pop-n-Lock dancing (he can do "the Robot" like you wouldn't believe!). His passion for danced flared an interest in Club Latin, which he consequently has studied and is now teaching at the Saratoga SAVOY. He is extremely charismatic and you are sure to have a blast in class!

Eric Moulton, Guest Instructor

Eric teaches Swing and Lindy Hop. He is a fun and energetic Instructor who has received training from some of the world's best dancers, such as Frankie Manning and Stephen Mitchell. Eric's classes are nothing short of pure entertainment. You will learn to look good and have fun. Maybe if you're lucky he will perform John Travolta's solo dance from Saturday Night Fever for you, as he is also known as the king of Hustle Line Dances!
